Huge open space, plenty of tables and games and events planned! The ciders are dry or semi-sweet. Very creative profiles like elderberry and lavender. We did a flight of 4x and it was about $10. Great place to stop in for a drink! Stay for a charcuterie board too!

I don't often write reviews, but felt compelled to write one for Convergence today.I have been coming to Convergence a few times a year or so since they opened. The sheer volume and thoroughness of detail in the building, from the immaculate cidery fermentation room to the restored beams in the dining area to the nuances in the bar, is remarkable. It is clear that the owners went the full mile in creating a very specific atmosphere, and they did an impressive job at that.It is also neat to see a business that is walking the walk on focusing on reinforcing regional character in their offerings. Their cider is made with apples from local orchards, ingredients from local producers and new menu (which I tried today) is from a local bakery. If keeping your money in your community is an economic principle you subscribe to, this is a good place to vote with your dollar.I don't generally drink hard cider, but every one I have tried here is excellent. In a world saturated in beers, this is a refreshing alternative. I would like a fall/winter offering that pairs as well with cooler temps as their current crisp ciders do with summer temps. Fresh-pressed, super-sweet, pulp-filled, rust-red, hazy-opaque orchard cider was a staple of my childhood, and is as far as I'm concerned the true taste of autumn. A whiskey-spiked cider Hot Toddy in a big coffee mug would be a wonderful addition to their offerings. Now to what inspired me to write this review; the steak/onion/potato pasty I had today. I love Decorah, but there is a lack of places to get fast, casual, hearty food. This pasty was all three of those things, and filled that niche. With an explosively flaky pastry crust filled with perfectly cooked potatoes and juicy seasoned steak, I couldn't be bothered to put it down long enough to take a picture of it. You'll just have to go in and try it for yourself A side of coleslaw would have made it perfect.Highly recommended.

We were in the area for our New Year's weekend getaway. We were exploring waterfalls and finding some grocaches while in town. We happened to notice this cidery and wanted to give it a try. Glad we did!! ?. Very friendly and knowledgeable owner and worker. We got a flight of ciders and had a pasty to go along with it. Both were delicious!! I love how the owner partners with local businesses, from the food available to the fact when you get a cider, it helps a local organization! That's fabulous!! Wish we lived closer, or you sold your ciders in Wisconsin.

Service was very friendly and cider was good. There just wasn't a lot of flavor difference between the different ciders.

Greeted with rudeness. Will never return. Tried to ask a few follow up questions on the menu I had reviewed online. Response was "like I already said we are only doing quick grab and go". The greeting and presentation of "we are revamping our menu" could have been said with better professional. We did not feel welcomed here at all!

Great place, good food and wonderful cider. Cool vibe. We attended a group event and it was very well handled by the Convergence Staff.

Rude owner After her very short rude introduction- we turned around and walked out. It was also very cold on the inside felt like I had to wear a jacket. Not the best sitting arrangement. We didn't even try the food but I bet it was gross packaged processed food

This is a family-owned establishment. They make their ciders in-house from locally sourced ingredients with no sugar added. A hidden gem in Iowa. If you love cider, check it out and show your love. They have locally sourced ingredients for their sandwiches and salads. This place is an amazing hidden gem.

A fun place to just chill out! The ciders were refreshing and the food was delicious! The owner was behind the bar and her son were behind the bar ( which is where we sat even though they have a big dining room ) They gave us a simplified rundown on how cider is made. Played shuffleboard while they were making our dinner. Haven't played that in years! Highly recommend it as a place to go

Loved the variety of ciders! Owners were so friendly and helpful. We had the Flyway Gold, which was the best cider we have ever had! Ended up buying 2 4-packs. Had the baked Brie with apple slices and it paired delightfully with the cider! We enjoyed playing some table shuffleboard as well?

We were on a trip to Decorah with friends and their kids, totaling 12 of us, and we had a blast at Convergence! We were greeted with a smile as soon as we came in, they had cider slushies for the kids, such a fun variety of ciders - we tried and enjoyed the majority of them, the food menu was better than expecting, and there were several games and board games for everyone to enjoy. We spent hours just hanging out and will for sure go back the next time we’re in that area!
