Really disappointed in our dining experience. In town for a short time and this place was recommended by a local. From the moment we walked in the waitress acted like it we were bothering her. Everytime she walked away from our table she rolled her eyes. Overheard the other waiter being extremely rude to another guest when he asked about his eggs. I'm still in shock writing this review 15 minutes later. To the owners please take a long hard look at these reviews. I wish I had and taken my family elsewhere.

Rudest wait staff that I have ever encountered. I repeatedly said thank you with no reply at all, just an eye roll from the surly waitress. Food was mediocre at best, I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect family diner experience. Each time we go there the wait staff make you feel at home. Coffee cups are quaint and a bit smallish but the wait staff keep them bottomless. Servings are large and you can't help but eat them all. The worst part of eating here is not having room for dessert. But they got you covered cause you can take your pie to go. Did I mention they have sour cream raisin pie???

What has happened to this once amazing little restaurant?? We went in for dinner last night. They weren't busy. Only 2 tables in the dining room. We seated ourselves because there were no employees to be seen. Took about 10 minutes for anyone to appear and acknowledge us. Waitress didn't tell us the specials. Didn't bring any water to the table either. She took our drink order. Brought the drinks. We thanked her because we are polite people. She didn't crack a smile nor reply. Ok, people have bad days so whatever. The food arrived. We thanked her again. Once again, no reply. Just walked away.My meal was satisfactory, my bfs Philly cheesesteak was dry with barely any meat. The portions were so much better when the old owners an the place. The staff was also much better. The waitress did return and ask us if we wanted refills. I just don't understand why they would cut portions and quality when the old owners had built such a huge and loyal customer base. Why are they cutting corners?? It really is sad and I notice it's not nearly as busy as it used to be. There's a few reasons for this.

I had the biscuits and gravy and was a bit disappointed. This is the only place I've ever seen that gives you only one biscuit with their biscuits and gravy yet charge the same price as restaurants that give you two. Also, the lone biscuit was burnt on the bottom. The saving grace was the gravy itself which was nicely done with a good consistency and excellent taste.

A no frills diner experience. New management, but same driver experience. The staff are usually pretty welcoming.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian and vegan items listed on the menu.

Stopped by while passing through from suggling down pounds of freedoms from Canada to Missouri.Amazing food like ma-ma cooks it. All you can eat shrimp and a Ruben sandwich. The best.I enjoyed listening to everyone talk with their accents. You must stop by.

Reliably good. Really is what you'd expect from your "grandma's kitchen". Serving sizes are comfortably portioned with a reasonable price to match. Wait staff is down home friendly.
