They have some of the best pastry stouts in the whole world. Some people say their prices are high as some cans run $20 a piece, but their quality is top notch. Staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable. Their brewery is nice and cozy and kid/dog friendly is a huge plus. Overall if you love craft beer or want to experience top quality beer come give them a chance.

The beer here is EXCELLENT! Super fast service and our bartender, Eric, was wonderful! Very knowledgable about the area and willing to chat. They had LOTS of to-go options since we were just passing through, we will be working our way through those at home. Worth the side trip!!

I was in Decorah for the day and stopped in to buy some beer to go. My complaint isn’t you can only buy the beer by the can, or the cost was 30 dollar for six beers. My complaint is Meow was one of the worst tasting microbrews I have ever tasted. Beer should not have an aftertaste of kerosene.

Friendly place, got a flight of beer and only recalled thinking one of the choices was something I'd get again (their new england ipa). Cool little spot. There was only one server working on a Sunday afternoon and while she was awesome, she obviously needed some help.

I’ve visited and drank at breweries around the world for over a decade. Pulpit Rock in 2025 is one of the worlds best. No question. The taproom in Decorah is friendly and well equipped to handle a few thirsty punters. Food available from local businesses next door or just over the road. A very cool place to hang out and drink some of the worlds best.
