Someone recommended this place for its vegan options and it did not disappoint! Wait staff great and knowledgeable. Portions were decent and food was very tasty and fresh. Many versions that weren’t bland but spot on spice level! We definitely be back up to eat here again (worth the 2 hour drive)!

Recent relocation to the Des Moines area - along with a solid recommendation by friends already living here - brought us to Blue Sushi. We are very pleased with our dining experience and intend to return!

I went here on a first date and it was a perfect location for it. The parking is easy, downtown parking. We went during lunch and I still found parking in front.
The server was kind, attentive, but not invasive.
The food is delicious! It was fresh, flavorful, and pretty.
The place is clean, cute and not too loud. It's a vibe, really.
