“We had not planned on going here. And to be honest I don't know the Southside very well as I've only lived in Des Moines for about 5 years now. what happened was a. Speeding car cut us off and we turned into The parking lot for this restaurant. There was a soccer (futball) game on the bar television and a few patrons were enjoying the game. It was a late lunch so we were the only ones eating but it was excellent. The waitress was super friendly and didn't make fun of me when I ordered things in my horrible Spanish. My date was a very impressed at the quality and flavors of the food. Highly recommended!“
