I heard about Hot Tamale on the news and had to try it for myself. Talk about delicious. I ended up going back twice in the same week so that I could get tamales for my family and friends. We liked the pork best and the green salsa was fantastic. Highly recommend if you are on the south side.
The pork tamales, beans and rice were absolutely delicious!! The staff were so welcoming and friendly!! Definitely will be back!!
Ordered 4 dozen to be picked up in 2 days and they were punctual and responded quickly. Would purchase again and recommend. Everyone loved the food, the vegan option went the quickest!!

The chicken liver and gizzards were delicious, and reasonable priced. They have plenty of dishes and sides to choose from. For desserts, the strawberry cake was one of the best cakes. The owners' kindness and community involvement are also praised; they support schools and students who may be hungry. Angie, one of the owners, is praised for her original and amazing dishes, as well as her love for cooking and giving back to the community. The service was warm, superb and genuine.
