I had a late dinner. The atmosphere was calm and cozy. I ordered Sazerac Rye, Johnny's Italian Salad, and mini Beef wellington. Very welcoming. Some complimentary bread was brought as well.
I love Johnny's it's a absolute favorite of mine!! I love the scallops with Brussel sprouts and a yummy candied bacon like garnish -!!! Oooommmg so good. I also really love the filet minon- a must have!!! And then also steak deburgo!! And do not skip the baked potato soup!!!!! Oh my goodness so ? yummyyy!!!!!
I took my wife to the Des Moines location next to the Airport for her 50th birthday. We were impressed from the moment we entered.. We had reservations for 2. I placed two led candles on the table along with a long stemmed silk rose to make the experience a bit more romantic. Our waitress Mara acknowledged my wife's birthday also by placing a candle onto her Creme Brulee. This was the icing on the cake for me.. It was an amazing date night.
