“The food here is amazing and we enjoyed meeting and visiting with our server, Talia. She did an awesome job explaining various menu items and had a good knowledge of all the food served here. If in doubt, go with the fried chicken. The portions are very large and it comes with two sides and their yummy garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had the green beans and Bubba salad for his sides.I chose the large Bubba salad with grilled salmon. Unfortunately the picture of my salmon doesn’t show the great presentation of it as I cut it up before taking a photo. Both of our dinners were delicious. We also liked the ambiance and decor. All of the food we saw coming out looked really good!Vegetarian options: There appears to be lots of non-meat options to try. Salads, soups, grilled vegetables, etc.Parking: Since this is downtown and we walked from our hotel, I’m not sure if there are easy parking options.“
“We had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious! The staff was very accommodating and attentive. I don’t eat sausage but really wanted the biscuits and chicken that had a sausage gravy on it. Our waitress noticed the cooks had a batch they had started to make of the gravy and asked if they could put some aside before they add the sausage! This is the kind of service we are lacking and need more of! Thank you for such a great experience and out of this world great tasting food!“
“Cajun Belle makes me glad I live right down the street. I had the shrimp po boy and wow! It is delicious. I also had a cream cheese kolache. I had never had one before and it did not disappoint. I can’t wait to go back and try all the different flavors! Thank you Zach for being so hospitable!“
“TL;DR: you will have a good time here.Overall the service and atmosphere are fantastic. The owner, Mike, happened to be in the restaurant and came over to our table to check on us a few times. Personable guy, funny. The food was in a weird spot for me. The sides were dynamite (creole mashed potatoes & and corn bread), the mains that I had (ribs, brisket) were just ok.The rub from the ribs was very smoke forward (my hands and clothes actually smelled of smoke for a while after we left) but I didn't get much in the way of flavor past the smoke. The rib meat was fine, if not a little bland. The brisket was less smoke forward but still that was the primary flavor I got. Additionally the brisket was served in one big hunk and it had the taste and feel of a pot roast moreso than what I expect brisket to taste like. The homemade sauces did a lot to impart flavor though. I would go back and try some of the other offerings though.“
