The food is amazing. The most real home cooking that you will find in Des Moines.. hands down. Prices are fair and portions are huge. If you go away hungry that's your fault.

First time visiting this establishment today. Let me start with I am from Chicago and I cook so I know good soul food. And baby this is it. Yes I did arrive at about 430 and there was a little bit of a wait but the food was made fresh and well worth it. Thank you for your time and patience and I will be back again. But thanks for giving me a little bit of home today. Happy Sunday and God bless.
