“Just went here because I live next-door and I was hoping they would accept Apple Pay but they only took cash so I had to go out to my car and I told the owner I only had five bucks on me and so he hooked me up with extra tacos in a free soda and it’s some of the most delicious food I’ve ate in a very long time definitely go there“

“I love this place, and no it's not because of it being walking distance from my house. It has to do with the amazing service and food. The buche (pork stomach) is sent from God himself. I will forever be indebted to the wonderful flavors and smells of this place for teaching me how to truly live.“

“Probably the BEST Tacos and Burritos Ive has since being in Iowa. Ive driven 20 mins to get here on the southside and would do it again without hesitation. The price is lower than most taco trucks and the food is AMAZING!!“
“New owners came in and dropped a coat of paint on this bar, hired a great manager (shout out Jess!) and made the place feel more inviting. Plus, hard to beat one of the best steak dinner deals in town on Thursdays. Excited to see what they do with a planned expansion to the kitchen. Looking forward to some breakfast.“

“I've enjoyed Taco Casa my entire life, and I truly believe it has the best soft shell tacos and beef chimichangas around. Throughout my travels across the country for work, I've yet to find anything that compares. In my opinion, the secret lies in the unique blend of meat and cheese. I do miss the ladies who used to run the place, but I think the new owner has done a fantastic job preserving the atmosphere and recipes that make Taco Casa special. As a regular, I've noticed some subtle differences, but overall, the essence of the restaurant remains intact.“
