If you are a low Income person looking for a meal for free this is the place to go. They also help out with resources. The executive Director Rob Hoover does great job in the community. They do accept donations. Stop by and check it out.
Staff is super friendly always plenty of smiles and seems like the whole staff shouts good morning. The food and coffee are outstanding I would dare say the coffee is the best in the city of Des Moines.
I have been there 3 times and always had good food and great service. I tell them up front that I am a big coffee drinker, and they have done an excellent job keeping my cup full. The servers have all been pleasant. I usually have bacon and eggs but I'm eager to try the biscuits and gravy.
