“We almost went to Clinton today... but we took an unknown road that curved and swooped and ended up in a quaint little iowan town. Delicious lunch "blue balls" with house garlic-parmesan sauce, amazing handmade raspberry-jalepeno jam, and a totally co-chill owner - who made us feel like longtime friends! Such a great afternoon! And, there's a porch swing across the way at the Rusty Rooster...“

“If you're coming through to Iowa, please stop here to eat! The food is always fresh with huge portions. The buffet offers some nice options and is worth the price. The service is always quick and friendly. Such a trucker friendly ambiance with many resources and places to try!“

“Pizza is very good, have never had an issue with quality. It's our go-to place in town for pizza. I've participated Monday's all-you-can-eat buffet, but I'm not sure if they still have that. Nice sports bar type atmosphere. Service is pretty good but we've had a couple times where there was seemingly inexperience with incorrect information given and the way things were being managed didn't seem professional. All in all though excellent!“

“Excellent! Italian stallion with hand tossed crust is so good. Love the crust. The group also liked the BLT. Wings were huge and yummy. Had taco a few months ago and it was great. They made a small mixup on our order, but they caught it before we arrived and had a makeup pizza in the oven. Manager came out to apologize several times, but honestly, it was no big deal and we received extra pizza for a short 5 minute wait. Highly recommend!“
