Space was big. lot having the foosball, Skee ball, and ping pong options. Food was great and they were very accommodating when we needed to order more. Very friendly staff.

Hosted my son's birthday here. I will say that the space was awesome and it was nice and secluded, working to keep tiny ones corralled.
I will say the booking process .... is a little strange. I'd agree when requesting to book it's a pretty quick response, but no name, not sure who you are talking to.
Our bartender didn't seem to know what he was doing and told myself and other people that he had never been in the cellar before. He didn't even know what NA options were available. It was a little worrisome. At least it was only a 4year olds birthday.
Food was out on time, all was good. Guests seemed to enjoy.
However, the total cost of $720 for the baby grand, chips salsa, space rental and gratuity I felt was high, but at the end of the day, I didn't have to cook or clean my home to invite people in. I felt the gratuity that was mandatory was just for people to cook the food (which I agree they should receive compensation) but it was $100 to have people drop off food, the bartender to be on his phone 90% of the time he was downstairs. As a former member of the service industry I know I wouldn't argue myself with auto grat, however it just felt like a lot for the minimal effort that the help provided. The most helpful one of all was Mikaylee. She was awesome!!!
Whoever was hosting in driftless was not the kindest, and we were given conflicting information between him and Mikaylee. He seemed very cranky or upset.
All in all, I love coming to the millwork and supporting small businesses. We will continue to come, but not sure if we will host another party here. I just didn't totally feel as supported as I was hoping in the planning process.

We chose Backpocket/Driftless for our company Christmas party and cannot say enough good things about the booking process and communication. Mike was a gem to work with the day of our party (and his staff!) - constantly making sure everyone had what they needed. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing venue to use for small gatherings. Their website was easy to use and their connection with Driftless pizza made our experience extra special. The atmosphere and decorations made our holiday special as well. Highly recommend Backpocket!

Puzzle League has me hooked! What a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Our family loves the whole Backpocket and Driftless experience.
We had a surprise birthday party there this weekend. Everything was so clean, the food was fantastic and they allowed us in before opening to set up. Staff was friendly and accommodating even taking photos for us. Would do business with them again!

Horrible service! We walked in as they opened no one acknowledged us at all. We had to go to the bar to ask for service. Ordered two beers. Still no service so we asked if we could order food. A manager approached me as my other half ordered our food and drinks and apologized that they didn’t let us know right away how things were done. Food and beer was great but the service definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. We will not be back unfortunately.

We rented out the large room behind the bar and it was a perfect place to throw our birthday party. We had access to food and drinks without needing to leave the rented space, and have plenty of space for everyone at the party. The manager, Karter, was very helpful and easy to work with. He checked up on us through night to make sure everything was being taken care of that we needed. I would recommend renting space here if you are looking to have a private event, it was exceeded my expectations. I will probably rent space here again in the future.

The beer was decent, but I wanted food and told it'd be a 35 minute wait (1pm on a Saturday), so I passed. Lots of kids running and stomping around like it's a Chuck E Cheese. Felt more like a hectic kids playgouse than a brewpub, so FYI if you're looking for some place chill to get a beer and food with friends without kids, maybe not for you, but I imagine for those with kids who want something for them to do while you get a beer, it's probably nice.
