Their lemon meringue dessert stands out with its contrast of tart lemon and sweet meringue. The menu, though pricey, is worth a return visit. Sunday brunch impresses with a fluffy babka and outstanding quiche, complemented by a flavorful tomato jam. The decaf coffee is well done. The restaurant's bread, baked in-house, has a crust that may be a bit tough for some. The monkfish, while requiring a knife and fork to cut, offers a good taste and spot-on presentation. Guests have noted the delicious Orechhiette and Leek Fondue, as well as the amazing flavor of the pan-seared chicken. The fried chicken is a huge portion, though it would be nice if it came with a veggie. While the crab cake was praised as possibly the best in Iowa, some found it a bit small for the price.
