Winter holiday ambiance off the charts. If you like that kind of vibe, come and chill while in Dubuque.
Had the Detroit-style pizza and it was just ok. Barely any toppings, crust was puffy but honestly Jet's chain pizza is better for Detroit style. Bruschetta appetizer was solid.
Wait staff was ok, friendly, but a bit behind as far as taking drink orders. Swamped pre-holiday weekend, and since the company and ambiance was so great it didn't even phase us.
Will be back. Hope they deck this place out for Halloween!

What a LOW QUALITY joint, uninviting, uptight nasty place… IF YOU ARE COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN DO NOT come here!!!!!! They have arrogant high school and college students working, MIND YOU, no where on this website does it say reservations required…half of our party of 5 arrives at the restaurant at 12:38pm, we had driven 45 minutes to try this pizza out, the other half of the party to be arriving shortly…some condescending teenager tells the first half of the party they need a reservation. THIS PLACE WAS DEAD. I worked in the pizza industry for ten years and the way this staff treated my family members was disgusting. Family calls and explains not to park and what had happened. So I call myself to ask why they turned the first half of our party away, and ask if people need reservations because NO WHERE ON THE SITE DOES IT MENTION RECOMMENDATIONS ARE REQUIRED…and explained we had drove over 45 minute with YOUNG HUNGRY CHILDREN to visit this place…as someone who studied the driftless area I was looking forward to supporting a local business…THEN another teenager on the phone tells me “no you don't need one but it is recommended on weekends”…again… THIS PLACE WAS DEAD! What a terrible attitude of staff, lazy and pompous. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN, DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME WALKING IN! worst service I have ever encountered in Dubuque. Deplorable. Despicable. Discussing. Support nice businesses and not this rude unkind one.

Needed pizza on Saturday and stopped in here while passing through. So much better than pizza in the south where I live. Very courteous staff. Only problem was all the Hawkeye fans while trying to drown my Cyclone sorrows…

Me and my wife love the pizza here and have had it a couple of times now but probably won't come back because of the terrible service that gets worse every time we come. It was so bad the last time that we just ended up leaving after standing by the please wait to be seated sign for 10 minutes with the waiter making eye contact with me numerous times while he was standing around doing absolutely nothing. Really wish I could eat here but not worth the shitty service.
