I was extremely disappointed. Hot and sour soup taste awful it was so thick more like hot and sour gravy! I order my food with No Nuts due to allergy and my food was full of Nuts not to mention after all of this, they forgot my teriyaki chicken. The one thing that was probably edible, but then again it probably wasn't. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place. You've been warned

To be honest. I don't know why anybody is eating out of the place and why they have not been closed down as of yet. The building is run down and in need of an upgrade. As soon as you walk in, it smells like sewer water, rotten food, and garbage. Dirty on the inside floors are filthy table and lobby is full of boxes and mess. Eating inside would definitely make you throw up. Would be scared to order anything from here thinking of food poisoning. Well, this is the place for that. The two people working are rude as well, talking to you behind a filthy dirty plexy glass that needs to be cleaned. There should be a sign that says no soliciting, but it's always a crowd hanging out because it's next to a run-down gas station. No good parking, and not in a good part of the neighborhood. I would avoid this place at all costs. They do have other Chinese options in this city.

Probably best you carry-out or get it delivered. The atmosphere isn't too appealing in my opinion. One of the best and most reasonably priced Chinese food in Dubuque.

Ordered two quarts of sweet and sour chicken (so the quarts just had the pieces of breaded chicken) and two quarts of pork fried rice. Both containers of chicken were incredibly dry, could barely even chew. And the pieces were so small inside the breading im surprised we weren’t just eating breading. The fried rice was also dry, added some soy sauce which helped a bit but this was honestly some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Spent $60 for four of us to eat and we threw all of it out. Even my 17 year old son (who literally will eat anything as long as it’s edible) wouldn’t eat it. I didn’t have high expectations for this place but even my low expectations were shattered. The only good thing about this place is the guy that checked me out was very nice. That is literally it. I mean if you can’t cook a basic sweet and sour chicken I can’t even imagine what the rest of their menu would be like. Will not waste my money here again. Highly NOT recommended.

One of the better options in Dubuque for Takeout. Mongolian Beef is spot on.

Some of the best tasting Chinese food I've had in a long time. The General Tso's was a bit on the spicier side; more spicy than I'm used to, but it was not a problem. Many flavors to be had in this dish, and I tasted them all. Nothing was dry or overcooked, and it arrived way faster than I expected. I'm only in the area on travel so I may not be able to get them again, but it was well worth the money. (Around 20 bucks with tip and delivery)

I ordered on NYE ,so I knew it was going to take awhile to get my food. At about 30 min past when the confirmation said I was supposed to get it,I called to check the status. The lady who helped( who said she was the manager & was very nice)said it's on its way but still took over 15 min to get to me & I only live maybe 5 min away if you hit all the lights. When I got it,my rangoons where cold, the pork wontons were so over over cooked, I couldn't really bite through them..never seem to be able to get those not over cooked idk why, I keep trying.BUT...the rest of my food was a pleasant surprise. I got cashew chicken, which in the past has been breaded chicken chunks which ends up kinda mushy & a tad over cooked, heavy salty sauce, This was nice tender slices of chicken.,lighter fresher tasting sauce .I'd ask for it xxx spicy because they would barely add any before so that's the only way to get any heat. ,this time it was almost too spicy.lol.the chicken fried rice in the past was bland, this one was very flavorful.lol Ive odered from them several times in the past& the food has always been..ok..could be worse, could be better.I havnt ordered from them in quite awhile&.ordered through the website which has been redone,so im not sure if its under new management, new cooks, both or what..but despite my apps not turning out the fact the main dishes turned out much better then before makes up for everything. Thank you

They messed up the entire order, not exactly what we thought it would be, I didn't rate it higher because they seemed understaffed and the place didn't look as clean as I thought it would.

Unexpectedly a really good food experience on Thanksgiving. Food quality and portion size, were pretty good. Chicken teriyaki is their bestseller for a reason, also their dumplings were good, loved it overall!

We were delighted with our delivery experience from Great Dragon, a pleasant surprise that exceeded some recent reviews. Notably, they were open on Thanksgiving day (thank you!), and their American Chinese cuisine surpassed our expectations in terms of taste and portion size. Personal favorites included the dumplings, and my husband enjoyed the teriyaki chicken skewers. Our order also included lo mein, Szechwan chicken, and chicken wings. While everything was flavorful, the chicken wings, unfortunately, fell short for me due to the excessive breading reminiscent of KFC.

Terrible food. I ordered the fried rice, crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Paid $35.00 for the worst Chinese food I've ever had.
