“Waited a long time to visit here. It was worth it. Very authentic , great tasting food. Atmosphere was like going back in time to a German bier house. Music playing, owner was gracious and most importantly; they understood and served German biers. I'm definitely going back. What a German Gem in Dubuque.“

“Went to The Grand Opra House and The Filament was suggested. Great Atomsphere, is located inside the actual Casino. Friendly and reasonably quick service.
Ordered pulled pork sliders, recieved 3 decent sized sliders and spent less than $15 on my order.“

“We stopped at The Barrel House on our way thru Dubuque. Food was great, but our waiter Travis was outstanding! Very nice young man who did everything you'd want a great waiter to do! His mom raised him right!!!“

“Derick was awesome. Quick with a joke and remembered everyone's name. Food was GREAT. Literally one of the better burgers I've had. The Road King on the menu. Bacon, homemade Cole slaw, topped with homemade buffalo sauce. Ordered mine with waffle fries which were cooked perfect. Recommend, recommend, recommend. A little dark, and kinda warm in there but I'm old so....“
