A great little bar with good beer and a friendly clientele. The Juke box music was excellent, and they couldn't have made two strangers from the UK feel more at home. Very much recommended.
Stopped here on the way to Galena, Illinois. Had an excellent turkey melt. My wife had the pancake which was as large as the plate. Excellent service. Highly recommend. Rating... outstanding

As a sucker for small town dive bars and a recent transplant to Dubuque, I'd been eyeing this little Wisconsin establishment for a bit. It's exactly what you'd look for in the when visiting the Midwest. An attentive bartender, great atmosphere, and excellent conversation. Can definitely recommend!
