The space itself is incredible—versatile for any weather (which is huge in Iowa), cozy yet open, and full of charm with string lights and exposed brick. The staff went above and beyond—from the band to the caricature artist to the bartenders, every single detail was thoughtfully handled and perfectly executed. I felt so taken care of, and so did all of my guests. It was more amazing than I ever imagined, and I’ll be recommending this venue to everyone. “This was our first dinner at Woodfire Grill and it was outstanding!! Such a pretty restaurant with cozy fireplaces surrounding the perimeter. Our dinner was delicious and portions more than generous. I ordered the crab cake appetizer as my entree and it was a great choice! Two good sized crab cakes...handmade not frozen. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. All in all, we had a very nice experience and the next time we're in Dubuque, we will return!!“
