“We stopped in after visiting Dan and Debbie's creamery down the street! As other reviews mention, this is a small space with beer and bar food. It has a relaxed atmosphere, good beer, and quick bites. Our kids enjoyed the games they have for all to use and they liked the mini tacos. We will be sure to stop again on our way through Ely.“

“I change this from a one-star review to a five star review because it appears they finally got rid of the manager that was doing some suspicious stuff, and really making sexist misandry type comments.

This is a great place, they keep up on the equipment the food is amazing, chill atmosphere 80s movies on TVs.
I love it I just wish the owners would listen to the customers.

There was some real suspicious stuff going on for a long time.
I wonder if sometimes when complaints were coming through the manager was just intercepting them.

“As a former professional brewer and certified beer judge, I can honestly say that the beer at Field Day is as good as it gets. I sampled many of the lagers and IPA’s, and all were excellent. The Czech Pils was my favorite. The food is also great. We sampled the egg rolls and gyro loaded fries. Service was excellent. There were a couple of beer order snafus, but our server, Madi, made it right. The Iowa City area craft beer scene is great, and Field Day is at the top of my list. Great food, beer and service. And the atmosphere is really good, too.“
