“We stopped in after visiting Dan and Debbie's creamery down the street! As other reviews mention, this is a small space with beer and bar food. It has a relaxed atmosphere, good beer, and quick bites. Our kids enjoyed the games they have for all to use and they liked the mini tacos. We will be sure to stop again on our way through Ely.“

“I went out with my family and we had such a good time the workers are so friendly and helpful I feel so seen and the food is so perfect. We tried the taco pizza and it tasted like an authentic taco with fresh pico de gallo I will definitely be returning to try what else they have. “As a former professional brewer and certified beer judge, I can honestly say that the beer at Field Day is as good as it gets. I sampled many of the lagers and IPA’s, and all were excellent. The Czech Pils was my favorite. The food is also great. We sampled the egg rolls and gyro loaded fries. Service was excellent. There were a couple of beer order snafus, but our server, Madi, made it right. The Iowa City area craft beer scene is great, and Field Day is at the top of my list. Great food, beer and service. And the atmosphere is really good, too.“
