“We came at a slower time and had the privilege of eating out on the patio. The sound of the cedar river was really nice. Our waitress Faith was delightful. I got the standard burger whose name eludes me. it was fresh and juicy, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. The veg was fresh. It came with Sidewinders, which were good and Cole Slaw, which was like KFC slaw, sweet and with lots of sauce. Loved it. My wife got the grilled cheese which was very unique, with an almost fluffy cheese texture, courtesy of some sort of atypical cheese. It was very cheesy! Not my typical favorite, but very good. She had a side salad and sweet potato fries. No complaints. We also tried the cheese curds, which were salty and delicious. You can tell the Beef Tallow difference. The food is a solid 7.5/10. The service, both speed and personality, is a 9/10. The entire meal cost just over 40$, which is an 8/10 in my book. A combo meal ranges from 12-16 with 2 sides. Who can complain??? And 1$ for canned pop. Love it! All told, I rate Hot Shots a rock-steady 8/10. We will be back. We will ask for Faith. Hot shots, GET IN!“
