We had seen some really good reviews, but wondered how good a Mexican restaurant could be in the middle of Iowa - we were stunned! The restaurant is in a hotel, but don't let that scare you. The restaurant was well decorated, we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant was probably 3/4 full, a good sign also. Visited on 7/1/25 between 3:15pm-4pm. Slow service when its dead empty inside a space with seating for over 100 patrons. Walked in and waited up front while 1 worker is just sitting at the bar watching a spanish soccer game (never got up once) & another is in and out between the work area up front & backroom, before finally coming to seat me 5 minutes later & another working the kitchen.
