For one the service is outstanding. The women at the counter was so polite. Felt very welcoming. She knew all the locals by name and I miss places like that. The inside of this place is like a time capsule. I loved it. Anyway we got our food very quick and everything was hot and fresh. We both got the country fried steak. The gravy was awesome. Couldn’t decide where to go for lunch, and was going to go to a fast food place, but this place looked more interesting. I had the turkey melt special, which was a delicious turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and bacon, an order of fries, and a soda. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. It was so big. I couldn’t even finish it! I may go back tomorrow and try their chicken for lunch. Fast friendly service.
Went here for breakfast a short while back used to go here with my grandpa as a kid. I was sadly disappointed my husband ordered the biscuits and gravy they left a lot to be desired I only ordered pancakes and when I did get them they were served on a Dixie paper plate . The pancakes were almost bigger than the plates. When I tried to pour syrup it ended I all over me because of the plates being to small. The place has really gone down hill.
