Overall a very nice experience. The Cajun Pasta with Chicken was good, the chicken had a bit too much extra dry seasoning but it was still juicy, just drying in your mouth if you got a piece with a lot of seasoning.Our server was very sweet but the gal who sat us may have been having a rough day. She was polite but seemed ready for a break.
This was my second visit to Mineral City Mill and Grill in Visit Fort Dodge and both visits were exceptional. It's a locally owned restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere, outstanding service, and the delicious food served in just the right portions. This time, I enjoyed the Caesar salad with salmon-oh, so good!
The highlights of my visit were when the waitress asked me if I wanted ice in my water, lemon to for the salmon, and the frosted privacy partition between my table...
The highest compliment I can give Mineral Mill and Grill is that I don’t have any complaints.
First, I love that it is locally owned. If it wasn’t, you would not find me eating there.
Second, the parking lot and restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean, which is super important to me. The menus were also clean, which demonstrates to me that it is a clean restaurant.
