If you’re in Iowa it’s hard to find good authentic Mexican. This place is great however. Realize this is Iowa and locals seem to prefer bland non-Spicey food so be prepared for the food to be very mild by default. If you want authentic be sure to ask for it. The wonderful thing is they know and will give you Spicey if you ask for it. My favorite dish is steak chimichangas - ask for steak cause it’s not on the menu. Better than the beef IMHO. I had a shrimp Quasadilla and 3 beef fajita tacos on corn. Came up to $19 no rice no beans. The shrimp had no Seasoning and basically was just shrimp & cheese "FOLDED" in a flour tortilla. There was no browning on top they did not grill the Quasadilla at all. It was still soft like a flour taco. Disgusting!?Overall the service was okay and the beef was fajitas was ok.
