Visited on 11/14/23 between 2:30pm-2:50pm. Had their chipotle wrap with "chips" (tortilla chips) & can of soda ($1.50 for 12oz). Small portions for what your paying & getting... the wrap was 6" inches in length cut in half, but only 2 inches thick with mostly lettuce, with a dozen of those tortilla "chips" included. Paid $11 overall.. when it seems more worth $7-8. I left still hungry that I ended up walking the 3 blocks over to the Mcdonalds to get a quarter pounder meal that included a medium soda (32oz) and medium fry.... got more bang for my buck for only $9. Based on the google reviews this establishement seems to have been around for a handful of years yet the place seemed pretty barebones (like the whole place could be packed up in mere hours).. they could definitely use some window blinds. The staff was friendly and the wrap tasted good but the portion is not worth the price.

Nice place - good food, friendly service in a very busy lunch spot. The staff is always hustling and working hard and smiling while they do it. Before taking your money they always, always, ALWAYS ask if everything was okay and will fix any problem brought to their attention. Not many places make this kind of effort anymore.

Exceptionally good food and service. We went twice during the week of our daughter's graduation and both times the place was packed and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Large, stone windows letting in natural light are the backbone of a beautiful atmosphere. Grinnell is very lucky to have this charming Cafe.
Very pricey for what you get. The $10 salad was a handful of iceberg lettuce, 3 pieces of chicken and a few slices of apples. Very disappointing. Left hungry which defeats the purpose of dining out.

Ordered crispy sesame chicken salad. It had about 1 cup of iceberg lettuce , only 4 pieces of chicken, a few pieces of pineapple and hardly any chowmein noodles. Definitely not worth their price of $10.95!It was nothing special.
