We have been going to the Frontier since we moved to Iowa in 2015. It is a small town cafe with a home comfort feel. When we need some really good food that reminds us of being kids, we drive over an hour to eat here. There is plenty of seating and plenty of people eating, and the staff is always friendly. One of my fav breakfast places. I order pretty much the same thing every time. Always have had nice servers. Been with a group of people and many times by myself. Always been great. I should try more food but why mess with a good thing ?

I had the BEST French Dip sandwich I have ever had right in Grinnell, Iowa at the Frontier Cafe !! It had the perfect Au Jus, and that is very important to having a wonderful French Dip . It had great tasting sliced roast beef a perfect hoagie bun. Mine had mushrooms onions provolone cheese cooked to perfection!!
