“I had the BEST French Dip sandwich I have ever had right in Grinnell, Iowa at the Frontier Cafe !! It had the perfect Au Jus, and that is very important to having a wonderful French Dip . It had great tasting sliced roast beef a perfect hoagie bun. Mine had mushrooms onions provolone cheese cooked to perfection!! It's a spacious restaurant and I love the service and the perfect diner interior.If you are ever close to Grinnell stop in and enjoy their many wide ranging menu items from breakfast to dinner . I believe you will enjoy it!!”

“The interior of the building is beautiful! The food was good, hot and served in a timely manner. The drinks were strong! So be warned 😀 We went later in the evening, so the restaurant was quieter.”

“What a fun environment and selection of beers and some liquor. They were fantastic we were there for my friend’s wedding reception and singing. The owner made sure the best man and the wedding party was taken care of. I would recommend Grinnell Craft Brewhouse.”

“I popped in for a late night visit on a Monday they had a really nice fresh clean and healthy dish of food served with a smile. When I come back to town I'm going to have to try something else from the menu.”

“The owner does a wonderful job of running this business, making sure people are having a relaxing time/atmosphere. The people who go here were just here for a fun and relaxing time as well. It's nice to be able to have a place to socialize which is safe! We hung out and played pool, hung out with the bar's cat, and met a family. It was nice to see people out, socializing, together.”

“I love this little sweet spot - but I need to apologize for my uncle who was there earlier this month and he was SO rude to your employee and the owner - he complained that he was 'being discriminated against' because you don't serve sugar free ice cream. He is a total snob from California who lives a very cushy life. I told my uncle to put a sock in it next time. It's not your fault he ate bad and has diabetes and now feels the whole world needs to accommodate his addiction to sugar free ice cream.
I was embarrassed to come back , but was there last week for a sundae and it was sugary sweet and absolutely delightful!”

“Stopped for gas on roadtrip (with 7 hour drive left), saw the Subway, and decided it sounded good. Four 6 inch subs ordered and the two gentlemen behind the counter were great. They were both polite and accommodating with the order (and my many particular placements of food) and even called us back in when we forgot to grab our side order of olives! Food was delicious and fresh. Great value for the money. Pleasantly surprised to have a REALLY good Subway experience! Great job!”

“We headed to Jimmy John's to grad a quick dinner while staying in Grinnell. We used the drive thru service. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our order was delivered quickly and accurately though we had to remind the window about getting a cup of ice. The food -- both a sandwich and a wrap -- were very good. We had an $8 bill. It was a good Jimmy John's experience.”
