“Always busy but the young girls inside do a great job of getting items to the customers quickly without cutting out quality. And always seem to be in a friendly mood.”
“Cute little coffee shop with an attached bakery. They have reasonable prices and a good selection. Support small business and visit this coffee cafe in Montezuma IA.”
“The gal that took care of us was top shelf for sure. She had pretty black hair and denim bibs. Very efficient and friendly. Another nice gentleman with a silver beard took the time to chat with us as well. It was very busy for a Wednesday and still virtually no wait for food. My burger was incredible. We don't get out much so I'm thankful for a good experience when we go out. I'm hoping to make the trip again soon.”
“Stopped here on the way down to our lake house. I was excited to see they had gluten free pizza. It was delicious!! The service was so friendly! We will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pizza”

“The owners here are always really amazing hosts. When my 4 year old and I would go here for our Friday lunch salad bars we would feel like we were being taken care of by family. The food was always plentiful and delicious, and the service was great.Fridays are not the only great days to go there. When the weather is nice the playground and sand volley ball court outside allow my wife and I to enjoy our meals with eachother while the kiddos play and get dirty! Even the superbowl party was a blast, especially considering how busy it was, service did not suffer at all. Food was served potluck style which honestly speaks to the very nature of this establishment... family and community oriented.I love and support this establishment, I am so happy it's just up the road for us folks in Monte. If you haven't had the chance to check it out make sure you stop in ASAP. You won't regret it!”
“Used a Punch Card the 10th was free had it given to me, I asked if I could get my temp cooler, he said he would, said if I didn't like the way it was made he would adjust it. “food was great waitress was very friendly, felt welcome we try to go to smaller estableshments like this when we travel and not always do you feel welcome not being a local”
“I could see myself hanging here with a friend for an hour or two. Our trio of a fam stopped and got two coffees & two pastries and an applesauce pouch. I ordered a specialty drink called the Montreal. The cinnamon hit just right on those first sips, making me long for fall!! And the fact that the specials are auto oat milk instead of an add on, it nice. My tummy thanks you! Fantastic coffee and tasty goodies in the case.We usually stop here on our way out of town after visiting fam. We’ll continue stopping by! ☕️”
“Visited for the first time on a trip back from Colorado to Chicago. The food, atmosphere and staff were great. We had the strawberry chicken salad, a club sandwich, Rueben, and burger and all tasted great! Plus we ate 3 slices of pie; key lime, chocolate silk and peanut butter. Not a morsel left on our plates. Coffee was great too! We even bought a whole peanut butter pie for home.Cute little town as well.”
“Such amazing food & service! Even offered a chicken breast side for my cat whom were traveling with. Service was top notice! Highly recommend the pot roast - it fell apart with just a fork. Pancakes were beyond amazing & flavorful. Even the coffee was delightful!”
“10 years ago when my wife and myself took our very first road trip, we got hungry and found this place in Malcom, Iowa. Their pizza was so delicious that today we covered almost 700 miles to make it there until the kitchen was closed.”
“Yolandas tacos is quite a surprise in an small iowa town. You can tell the locals love it, because at about 12:30 the town poured in for lunch. Authentic options of Mexican specialties, including tamales, Carneasada, lengua, barbacoa, plus ground beef, chicken, and steak. Prices are excellent for the quality. The restaurant isn't big, but it's clean. Will definitely go again!!Vegetarian options: Fish tacos!!”
