Good food & good service
For sure will be back!
order our dinner around 7pm. We have 5ppl in our party. The food was simple order. It took over a hour to receive our food. 2 🌟
Los Girasoles is fantastic. The staff paid very close attention to my needs and were able to accommodate my requests for extra tortillas and the wifi. To curb your immediate hunger, they serve corn chips and salsa when you are seated. I ordered the nacho fries and grilled vegetables side, which balanced nicely. The food came out quick and hot. If you are traveling interstate 80 or through Grinnell, bring your smile and practice your Spanish at Los Girasoles!

Los Girasoles is a fantastic Mexican restaurant in Grinnell, widely considered the best Mexican place in town. The staff pays very close attention to needs and happily accommodates requests for extra tortillas. To curb immediate hunger, they serve corn chips and salsa when seated. The food comes out quick and hot, even on busy days. Many meals are delicious, including the nacho fries, grilled vegetables side, burritos, fajitas, tacos, and appetizers like the lunch ground beef burrito special. The chicken and steak combo fajitas are absolute best in town, with actual chunks of meat. Everything is so flavorful, fresh, and comes in big portions. The atmosphere is colorful with many sunflower paintings, and the space is beautiful. While service can be a little slow at busy lunch times, the price is very fair. A family of five ate lunch for $50 with tip because of great lunch specials. Whether traveling along interstate 80 or through Grinnell, bring a smile and practice Spanish at Los Girasoles.
