I was kind of skeptical that we would find good Mexican in the middle of Iowa but happily surprised by this spot! Nice ambiance in what looks like a converted rail road station. Guac and salsa were just ok but the entrees were really good and also quite fairly priced.

Inside the old train station, historical and cozy, you'll find the best restaurant in Grinnell. The food is not complicated but who doesn't love rich guac, savory shrimp and homemade salsa? But the real star is how fast and professional the servers are, would return, would pick for a first date. Gracias!!

This was an excellent choice for lunch. The prices were very reasonable with large portions.. The food and the service were exceptional. An outstanding value for what you get!
We are from Wisconsin and are in the area for the Nascar Race. We stopped in here because our hotel was in Grinnell. This place was absolutely amazing! Service and our waiter were outstanding, the atmosphere was incredible and the food was DELICIOUS! I wish we lived closer because we would probably be here every day! Not to mention, the train went by as we were sitting here eating, and that was an incredible experience to see that!
