Went here for my mother's birthday dinner and had an outstanding time. The service was the best in Iowa City. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and wine list and made excellent recommendations. I got the lamb entree and it was phenomenally done. Our salads, pasta dishes, appetizers and dessert were all incredible down to the plating. Best Italian in iowa City area by a mile. We'll be back.

Went here for dinner before a show a Hancher recently - really fantastic experience!All tables were taken with reservations (get some well in advance of the weekend), so we sat at the bar. The bar was great - Adam was tending. He was excellent - friendly, A+ recommendations, and made us feel at home. The atmosphere was great and the other couple at the bar was very friendly.I have heard the food is good and we were really impressed. Mozzarella burrata, bucatini boscaiola, and tagliolini. Cheesecake for dessert. Would also recommend Adam’s Mint martini (created by Adam the bartender). All of the food was excellent - bucatini was my favorite.I didn’t do a great job w photos - but here are a couple!

Fantastic experience! Our server was so friendly and helpful when I asked for slight modifications to my salad, and it was perfect. My friend said her salad was perfect also!The server even accommodated my request for a strawberry lemonade (perfectly mixed).A great lunch! I will definitely be back!

Very fancy, high quality Italian place. It's in a pretty small space and it's very busy, so definitely make a reservation if you can, even just for two people. The food is delicious, and the service excellent. We got a variety of appetizers and entrees, and nothing was disappointing in the least. Definitely expensive, but I would not call it overpriced, and the dishes are more than big enough to fill you up but are not oversized. Generally a great experience.Vegetarian options: Lots of meat on the menu, but also plenty of vegetarian dishes and dishes which can easily become vegetarian.Parking: Situated in downtown Iowa City, so be prepared to park a few blocks away or more.

Nice place but loud inside depending on who is talking. Food was good my osso bucco was smaller than what I was expecting. Stick to the pastas they were all good. Pizza hard to eat,all the cheese slid off .Parking: Limited parking but there is a garage a block away
