Our family loves China Star in lowa City! The food always tastes fresh and homemade, and you can tell the owners put their hearts into every dish. We often order for family dinners, and everything - from crab rangoons to Beef with Broccoli- is always delicious. Such a warm, family-run restaurant that truly cares about its customers.

Had a wonderful experience at china star,while visiting from out of town! Arrived on a Saturday evening around 6pm . Food was delicious and service was great. Restaurant was clean and staff were very friendly. Wish we could have tried every dish on the menu, will definitely have to return!

If I could give zero stars I would the dude that took my order didnât say hi what can I get you nothing of the sort to welcome me until I finally just started ordering the chicken was dry huge fatty pieces crab ragoons tasted like they were spoiled and it wasnât clean at all
