Cookies & More holds a special place in my heart as an Iowa City staple. Since childhood, this charming shop has been a part of my fondest memories. In the bustling days of the Old Capitol Mall, my routine always included a visit to Cookies & More after enjoying places like Aladdin's Castle, Diamond Dave's, and the Capitol Theatre.
What keeps me coming back are their incredibly delicious cookies, each bite bursting with homemade goodness. While all their cookies are delightful, my absolute favorite is the Monster Cookie.
The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. You can get a couple of cookies or a whole bucket of cookies, a large cookie cake made to order with frosting, and even coffee or soda.
If you find yourself strolling through downtown Iowa City, don't miss the chance to stop into Cookies & More. It's an Iowa City gem.

I stop in every once and awhile but today specifically I stopped in around 11:30 and the girl that took my order was very rude and disrespectful. I never have an issue coming here but if that's how they want to treat their customers then I don't know if anyone wants to deal with that type of disrespect.

Every summer when I was little, Cookies & More was one of the highlights of the trip we’d take out to the Midwest to see family and two decades later even though we don’t visit Iowa City as much anymore, my mom surprises me every now and then by shipping out a bucket of their monster cookies. I can’t say I’ve tried any cookie other than the monster cookie because we’d just order about four dozen of them and that was the only kind we needed honestly.I just started a new job and was pleasantly surprised by a bucket of monster cookies in my mail box and it’s brightened up my week. Treat yourself to a monster cookie for me if you live nearby! Absolutely recommend!!

Cookies are delicious and have tasted the same for 25+ years. Also the staff have never been rude to me or anyone I've seen in line. I would venture the reviewers who complained probably are accustomed to being rude without getting it thrown back at them:]The oatmeal raisin is my favorite and is really really good. My runners up are the sugar and crunchy chocolate with a monster honorable mention. If you are just passing through they freeze /defrost really well too.
Their cookies are the best u can buy. Nobody has a monster cookie like this place.

Not everyone is going to like what you like and not everyones top priority is to get you a cookie as fast as they can it’s to do their job which is more than just bring you a cookie they are students.. they have a lot on their minds don’t put a 2 star review for one bad experience... 5 stars!
