Very low key *Buffet* that makes you a burger late at night! Pretty awesome Richard burger was made for me and my partner by the awesome bartender who had jokes and stories. This man almost persuaded me to buy some hot nuts, which is on the menu also… pretty cool in there with the lights.
Vegetarian options: Cheese Sandwich might be free? And there are hot nuts, and chips.
Parking: It’s parking off of Market st which is a one way, and depending on if it’s past 5 or 6 pm, you have to pay before the time, free after time.
Was in IC for a wedding and accidentally dropped my wallet nearby- it was luckily turned in to them. They found a way to contact me almost immediately and mail it to me within the week. When I’m back I will absolutely be ordering a burger and a beer at George’s! Very kind people.

You hambergers are great! You can get ANUTHING here. (As long as it is a hamberger.) Oh the hot nuts(cashews) are great too. The beer and other libations are COLD. The service is warm, fast and friendly. I will get some photos next time. They have old time moving-water beer signs.

We went on a fairly busy night around 10pm; liked that they had a lot of seating, including outside. When we walked in the place smelled amazing, so much so I decided to order a burger. Which the bartender sighed and looked at the clock and rolled her eyes. The guy before me at the bar had ordered 8 burgers and he said they serve food until midnight. There were at least four people working behind the bar, so not sure why the attitude?
WORST thing about the place: THE BURGER! A frozen patty was placed in some weird looking oven thing and not sure if the meat was so fatty or they use a water bath, but the texture was offputting and the flavor was worse! Even after not eating supper and drinking that evening, I couldn't finish my burger...that's how bad it was!
I am still baffled where the good aroma was coming from, cause it surely was not the burgers! At least it was cheap though. I wanted to like this place...maybe I just came on the wrong night??
Wheelchair accessibility: Most of the seating is low tables and have huge outside patio too

From the diversity on tap to the equanimity of the staff to the incredible burgers (which are nearly good enough to tempt this vegan to stray), George’s is a place you’ll always feel at home. Even when the lights come on at 2AM and they tell you to find a home.

I love George's on principle alone, but had a terribly difficult time getting a cheeseburger. I ordered it, didn't hear anything from the staff at any point after that, even after asking about it as other patrons who arrived after me received their orders. Ended up canceling it after a third patron received one. Still wish I could've eaten it, but have no clue what was up with any of it. ????
