The food was delicious! Portions were large!
My only suggestion are on the following:
No handicap parking.
Handicap outside out door did not work, and no handicap on inside entrance!

my daughter and I decided to try this restaurant and we were glad that we did- the food was excellent, the waitress suggested the pumpkin pancakes and they were very good and even the coffee was good- we will be going here again sometime soon.
Delicious food, friendly service, and a clean, welcoming environment!

Golden Yolk Breakfast & Lunch offers delicious food with large portions. The service is excellent and friendly, with a team-like approach to taking care of customers. The atmosphere is bright and inviting. Meals mentioned include the pumpkin pancakes, southern skillet with over medium eggs, veggie skillet with lots of sautéed vegetables, fried eggs with a nice piece of Iowa ham, avocado omelet, and southern eggs benedict. Eggs were cooked to perfection, hashbrowns were crispy, and the coffee was good and strong but not bitter. The menu has many interesting groups, such as pannini and crepes and pancakes/waffles, with lots of ingredient offerings for the omelettes and sandwiches. Some suggestions include no handicap parking, a handicap outside door that did not work, and no handicap on the inside entrance. It seems the restaurant doesn’t run A/C because it was really hot, and the waitresses and host also looked like they were still figuring their roles out. The speed of service was not as fast as the Village Inn, but worth the extra 5-10 minutes.
