The food and cocktails at Goosetown are eclectic and amazing. You can eat inside in a casual, sophisticated urban setting or on the outside patio. Or, if you are part of an indecisive group, everyone can sit in the outdoor space and order from any of the super-accommodating surrounding restaurants. This is a great spot for a casual-sophisticated date, a family or couples dinner out or a larger group. And the food is amazing!
Great atmosphere and vibe. Was impressed with the staff and unique food. The braised lamb was not something I would normally oder and it was phenomenal. The bibimbap was probably my favorite dish I've ever eaten-can't wait to have that again!
We are new to Iowa City and we are foodies. Love living here and all the amazing options. Our first time trying Goosetown for dinner and we were not disappointed. Each dish was delicious! We started with the special , white fish crudo with blood orange & cream sauce. So good! Our table next shared chicken liver mousse with grilled sourdough bread - we devoured the dish.
