This small place was absolutely delicious! We got take-out Friday night and came back for Sunday at lunch. The owner was extremely helpful and he took great care to ensure we had a good experience. The gyro meat was very tender and not at all gamey. Jeff's special, a spicy naan sandwich with chicken and a kind of sweet sauce, is a must try! (though it's not yet on the online menu). Literally so good ! We took our order to go but it smelled so good we ended up “snacking” on it on the way back home. Absolutely delicious and the owner was so sweet! Can wait to come back ?

Probably the best kept secret in Iowa City. I can't believe we waited this long to try Hot & Roll! The chicken sharwama and gyro are both very delicious. So is the chickpea salad. The flavor is a tad bit sweeter than your typical gyro pocket, but in a good way. They put this magical dressing on the greens and chick pea salad. It is sweet with maybe a mint chutney type of flavor--just very delicious. Service is very friendly as well.
