This small place was absolutely delicious! We got take-out Friday night and came back for Sunday at lunch. The owner was extremely helpful and he took great care to ensure we had a good experience. The gyro meat was very tender and not at all gamey. Jeff's special, a spicy naan sandwich with chicken and a kind of sweet sauce, is a must try! (though it's not yet on the online menu). The chickpea salad was also amazing, with a kind of sweet sauce, some mango flavors, and a spicy kick with jalapeños.You'll need a fork to eat the gryo or sandwiches because they are so loaded up, but it's worth the mess. We will be going back again and again.
Literally so good ! We took our order to go but it smelled so good we ended up “snacking” on it on the way back home. Absolutely delicious and the owner was so sweet! Can wait to come back ?

Probably the best kept secret in Iowa City. I can't believe we waited this long to try Hot & Roll! The chicken sharwama and gyro are both very delicious. So is the chickpea salad. The flavor is a tad bit sweeter than your typical gyro pocket, but in a good way. They put this magical dressing on the greens and chick pea salad. It is sweet with maybe a mint chutney type of flavor--just very delicious. Service is very friendly as well.
Owner was extremely friendly and the food was packed with flavor. Inside could use some work and renovation, but the food is outstanding. I had the gyro mix kebab naan combo and it just had more flavor than I was expecting and it came with lemon pepper fries. I would suggest getting a 2nd naan bread with this though.

Food is AMAZING!!! But the service is even better, they are so kind and welcoming. I stopped by randomly and I'm going to come back for more as much as possible. The Shwarma combo is amazing and the sauce they use on their fries is to die for :) You should def come check this spot out.

We drove from Cedar Rapids to come try this very delicious food. The service was beyond excellent and it was very quick. We hope to get to try everything on the menu soon. The chickpea salad was perfect with a little bit of spice to it. And the gyro meat was well seasoned and cooked just right. Highly recommended!
