Literally just got attacked by the owner when I accidentally walked in and used the restroom, thinking it was jimmy johns. He chased me down and wouldn’t back down until I paid him $5. My family had all went to jimmy John’s and ordered while I was in the restroom, otherwise I would have stayed there to eat. Right up until the owner literally accosted me, my husband and my son In law and demanded money. Complete lunatic.
I finally got time to stop for lunch today. Amazing. Service was quick. The sweet tea was good, and the tenderloin and fries were smoking hot and came out fast. I'm not a cole slaw guy, but it was good.
Totally awesome. But if you're not really hungry, get the smaller sandwich. I finished the large, but I shouldn't have. ;)

Joensy's Restaurant is a great locally owned family diner with fast and friendly service. The hot beef sandwich with real pot roast and mashed potatoes was a hit, as was the 4 oz half breaded tenderloin made of quality pork. The owner is a gem and epitomized Midwestern hospitality. The pork tenderloin is fantastic and available as a traditional sandwich, in a spicy style, or in a salad. It is served with great fries. The kids said the cheeseburgers were good too and they came with free ice cream. It is the greatest place to dine for a superb meal and fantastic service.
