I've eaten here several times, and the food is always excellent. Most recently, we dined in on a Monday, which is their burger special night. We just happened to hit happy hour as well, so I was expecting a bigger bill. So, I just put a little more in their tip.Burgers are great, drinks are cold, service is wonderful. I substitute the potatoe salad for French fries, and it's really good.I would recommend this place 11 times out of 10 over that 5 Guys place, especially on a Monday....read full review
We have a lot of nice neighborhood locally owned bars and restaurants in Iowa City. Shorts on the east side is among them. The veggie bean burger I had was quite good and the service was fast and friendly.

I'm a regular there. The food & service bring me back every week. The Tinga nachos rule. Staff are super friendly. Many extras don't cost extra. Also no cc coveince fee is nice.
