While the food was delicious I won’t be back. Me,my mom,sister and her bf joined my aunt and her bf for dinner the other night. We split the bill so my aunt and her bf paid for theirs and left a tip but when my mom paid it was $145. My mom called and they proceeded to say ‘Since it was a larger group and table of people we automatically added on a gratuity fee.’ My aunt gave them a tip when they paid at the counter with her bf but our bill was still $145 dollars from the gratuity. 2 adults & 2 kids for food and the bill SHOULDN’T have been that high. I was wanting to go back but after this bullsh*t I won’t be

SHARP BONE IN THE BIRRIA TACOS. I placed an online order for 3 goat birria tacos. Before I could finish the first taco, I found a sharp, triangular bone in the taco. When I called to inform the restaurant, the cashier spoke with the manager who said “thank you for letting us know, but since it’s goat and it’s pre-cut meat, no matter how hard the chef tries, there will still be some bones”.
No refund, no apology. Just a “thank you” for letting them know. I’ve attached a picture of the bone. You can imagine what would happen if someone swallowed that. Poor customer service, and evidently a deranged manager who thinks bones in tacos are just inevitable. I WILL NEVER come back.
If you like the idea of bones in your goat birria tacos and the potential choking hazard and/or GI tract perforation that comes along with them, make sure to stop by La Regia!

Just had lunch here. I asked if they could do shrimp enchiladas suiza vs chicken . Our server said there would be a bit of an up charge - when I got the bill my $15 enchiladas suizas were $25! They couldn’t figure out how to add a few extra dollars for the shrimp so they added each item a la carte- $4.50 for queso ( no queso on my plate), 3 “tacos” at $5 each and $4.50 for rice and beans and $1 for tortillas- Lesson learned and I won’t be back.

Very good food and everything but the girl who served us ordered my food wrong and I told her before how I wanted it and she brought me what she wanted and on top of that she tells me how are we going to do it and she didn't want to bring me the way I asked and NO I KNEW IT WAS AN OCTOPUS?

Cuoted us $48 over the phone. At pick up, the lady said with an attitude that he was wrong, it was $78. Also, they said 15 minutes. We went after 30 and ended up waiting an extra 20 minutes. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I didn't have a good experience, the tacos were cold, the tortillas were stiff, of the 3 tacos only one was warm, I got sick, I already went to urgent care and to my doctor and it came out that it was (food poisoning) food poisoning. I live in atheist Chicago, I just went to visit my daughter. And it didn't go well for me. I never eat there again.

The food is always delicious. I especially love the flavor of the chicken. The one downfall is having to buy the chips and salsa. All the other places have included in the meal. They are a must have for us. Because of this, I would choose a different place to eat because chips and salsa are my favorite food and I hate having to purchase them along with my meal.
