Very cute, quaint place serving brunch only on the Sunday I visited with my daughter. The menu offered a variety of sweet and savory items. I had a Moroccan eggs dish - poached eggs covered with a red pepper tomato sauce, with pita and hummus (excellent and filling). My daughter had crepes stuffed with bananas and honey. The crepes looked whole wheat, which is a nice healthy touch.The brunch also has the egg and meat standards and daily specials. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast.
My wife, daughter, and I, visited around 10am on Saturday, February 8th. My wife and daughter had visited before, this was my first visit. It was very busy when we arrived, but we found a seat and our server greeted us right away. Our server, and the couple of others that we interacted with at the Leaf Kitchen, were very nice. Adorable place with great food. Alena was absolutely fantastic, so helpful and great with my toddler! She even helped bring my leftovers to my car. THE place to go for an Iowa City brunch!
