This might be the best BBQ in Iowa. First had it when I was visiting from Florida. Now ironically I live about 90 mins from here and will drive just to eat here. The Mac and cheese is amazing but truthfully I have yet to have a bad bite from this place. Do yourself and everyone you know a favor and eat here!
We were passing through on a day trip back home. Great customer service and food! The guy taking orders was super friendly and asking everyone how their day was going. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal, sweet potato fries were the right amount of crisp, and burnt end sandwich hit the spot!
I have had a number of things on the menu and not one of them has failed to amaze! Me and my family are avid BBQ connoisseurs and pops holds their own against the best Kansas City BBQ has to offer...Must try!
