It’s an ok college type bar with a full menu of drinks and bar food. The simple bar food is adequate, but nothing special. The staff tries to do their best to keep you happy, though. There are many other better places downtown. All our food came out cold. Cheese curds were below average, and we aren’t even picky.
Vegetarian options: There are a few appetizers that are vegetarian
Parking: There are 40 parking spots that are $2 an hour or free after 6pm. There are also several parking garages nearby similar rates with several thousand parking spots available.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a bar, so not too kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a nice wide entrance and they have outside seating so it’s convenient to wheelchair users.

I LOVE Quinton’s Bar and Deli. Currently a DSM transplant and I drive to Iowa City once a week to eat there. The sweet potatoes fries will be at my wedding along with their sweet and speedy bar tender Dan. Highly recommend any drink she serves.

I ordered the steak salad to go at the bar and had a drink while waiting. The service was good, which I would expect because the Place was almost empty. The problem is the steak in the salad. The greens were fine, but the steak was not edible. It was several small pieces of overcooked steak. Over half of the pieces I had to throw away because they We’re all fat and cannot be eaten.

If you are looking for a good sports bar this is it. 12 TVs and they even have the Sunday NFL ticket. They also have a number of the MLB channels. James is your go to guy for sports betting. Don’t forget to mention their daily and happy hour specials!!
Dylan is one of the coolest bartenders in Iowa City. Grace under pressure when it's happy hour busy... remembers your favorite mixed drink...his good nature is infectious which attracts a group of like minded individuals. Great place to watch a baseball game.

2 stars is generous… they don’t know how to staff accordingly creating a hectic and anxiety filled environment. I am currently a senior at Iowa and this has been going on for FOUR years. There are tables after tables walking in and ONE server and ONE bartender! This then creates problems on top of problems as the stressed workers are forgetting orders and not fulfilling their customers desires. I also got the buffalo chx sandwich and it was like chunks of chicken?? Also claimed to have cheese on it and i got one piece of lettuce?? My friend also ordered a TURKEY sandwich… and got HAM! HAHAHAHAHA this is insane!!! Anyway, roll liner
