Work in Iowa City and my coworker and I frequent here. Food is awesome. Never had a bad experience. If you haven't already you gotta try this place.

Rodney needs a brick and mortar building where he's open 7 days a week. The food and service are excellent. The prices are very reasonable. I look forward to getting it whenever I have the chance.

Had Rodney’s at Blues and BBQ in North Liberty. Absolutely delicious and great amount of food. Had J*** Chicken, rice and Beans, steamed Green beans amd Loaded Fries!! Highly recommended!!!

Went to BbQ Event at park. Bought from trailer setup. $15 overcooked "***** chicken was worste I've ever had, hands down! Dry, and almost no seasoning! Tasted no j*** flavor, at all. Only pepper. Plus, pretty sure the beans are canned. Tastes EXACTLY like Bushes baked beans..... in a can. Extremely disappointed!

Omg!! I've never had Jamaican jerk chicken, but this will not be my last! I got the jerk chicken & 2 sides; cabbage & red beans & rice... ?!! So good, flavorful, & a little spicy for the tender tongues. I will definitely be back. My favorite meal I've had in this city since June. Thank you so much Rodney!

Inconsistent hours and menu, but when it hits its groove it makes the best street food in Iowa City.
