I love the food. I have been disappointed driving from out of town and the posted hours and closures not corresponding. I usually check Facebook to see if they are closed, but it's not always communicated. Great food though with great good portions.

All we can say is mmm mmm good! Catfish fried to perfection and not greasy! Mac and cheese is creamy - not runny - so cheesy! Fried cabbage well seasoned almost thought it was greens! And the peach cobbler cinnamon roll...oh my!!! Don't pass this up unless I'm in the restaurant and that leaves more for me🥰
She cooked all our meals fresh so it took time, but it was worth the wait.

This place is amazing! The fried chicken is out of this world. Light, crispy batter with delicious seasoning, and moist meat. The sweet potatoes and mac n cheese were so darned good, too! Ialso bought I side of spaghetti which was delicious! Tasty cornbread muffin came with the meal. It took about a half an hour to get my food and it was definitely worth the wait! The portions are very large so you can share or plan on leftovers. It's a little tough to find the restaurant because it's inside The South District Plaza and there's no sign from the outside. You can eat inside but I think it's more of a takeout place. If you haven't been to Royceann's, you're missing out!

Overcooked pork chops hard like a brick…always out of banana pudding & tells you after you already paid waited 3 hours for food on DoorDash ..cornbread burnt sides over cooked be careful ordering from here !!!!!!
The food is incredible. The owner is so sweet. Amazing catfish, cabbage, and yams. Amazing everything honestly. I’m from South Carolina and haven’t been able to find real soul food around here, but this will be my new favorite spot. I don’t have a single note.

OH MY LORD!!! If you haven't eaten here you are definitely missing out!! Everything (fish, pork chops, greens, cabbage, mac n cheese and THE YAMS!!) were outstanding!! And we got the peach cobbler cinnamon rolls!! Nothing disappointed us! And it will be at least two meals if not more for us! I'll be back (said like Arnold Schwartzenegger)

Food is incredible. Collard greens and fish especially, but the chicken, mac and cheese, and yams are super yummy (corn bread was a titch dry, but still good). She cooks to order, so getting the food takes about 25-30 minutes. Worth it!
