The food was just okay I split it with my friend it was chicken with lemon the potatoes were cold the vegetables were hot they were grilled. The booth we sat in it was very sticky on my butt not cleaned up very well you need to work on that.

Wow is all I can say. Service was amazing had the sweetest server ever! I ordered the Dundee burger and it was delicious till it wasn’t. I did not finish the burger so I got a Togo box so I could eat my burger later. When I took my first bite I noticed something was wrong. I was chewing, and chewing and chewing. Something felt dry, and not like my other bites, something was very wrong. So I spat out my bite and there it was. A hair like clump of who knows what. I was absolutely REPULSED I started to gag, I have not been able to eat all day the texture is ingrained in my mind. I was so excited to try Stella’s because my mom has been hyping it up for years but YIKES this was definitely an experience!

Had the eggplant and it was good. I liked the pesto sauce but it was not very appealing on top. Someone else had the combo (?) salad. They said it was good, but the chicken was dry. We will try one more time. This was a to go order.

The AC could not keep up and they said it was normal. However, this bigger issue was that they combined the bill because we were a party over 8 people. Which was completely okay! Yet, because the bill was combined we were told that gratuity was included. The waitress missed adding gratuity and we were not aware of that so we left. She then hunted us down in the parking lot and chewed us out until we gave her cash for a tip. SO EXTREMELY unprofessional.

We love the burgers and hand-cut fries at Stella, and the patio is fantastic. Service is always great. Keep in mind the Iowa football schedule if you'd like to eat here as it is very close to the stadium and parking can be difficult.
I love, love, LOOOVE Stella but prices have gone up since i last visited last year. Prices for appetizers are 13- 14+ and above . Salads and sandwiches are outrageous too. I hope they will bring the prices back down for the food because the food is amazing and excellent service. My favorite is the Edith chicken sandwich and the lavender lemonade mocktail. The frys were a little dry but not greasy. The food was excellent!

Girl you can't charge $1 for a side of ranch (in Iowa!) and then serve it in a plastic container. Also it was watery salad ranch.

This restaurant is in Iowa City, not far from the stadium. It has a hip vibe and great food. The service is outstanding. It is not a big place, so call ahead to be sure a larger group can be accommodated. They have a parking lot- not huge, but enough parking there and around the area.

I wish we got photos. We went on half off burger night. And Wow!!! Just wow!!! A selection of 25 different half pound burgers absolutely fantastic. The hand cut fries were spectacular. Our server, Corinne, was fantastic. What I really liked was the camaraderie between the whole team. When you hear them playfully bantering and working together, you know you have found a place that treats their staff well.
I had the Blue Margarita and my fiance had the Black Cherry Mule. Both were amazing. The ginger beer they use has a spice that tingles your mouth for a while. Tonight was our anniversary and we wanted to try something new. We were not disappointed. I'm so glad my sister recommended this place. It was perfection and I would give it a 10 out of 10. The atmosphere was great as well.
