This has become my favorite place to go when I'm in town. The menu is varied (good for a group), and everything is tasty. I especially love the Cajun selections, like jambalaya and Gumbo. The beer selections and flights are perfect. And I've always had warm, attentive service while here.

The food was fabulous! The presentation was lovely! If it was a nice warm spring day, sitting out on the patio could have been very inviting. However, the indoor atmosphere was very comfortable and cozy. Our server was very genuinely sweet and offered some places to see around the area and kept our water filled and checked in on us several times if we needed anything! She was great! Menu had excellent selection! I will return again!

Went there at 11:30 on a weekday and got seated right away. A classic atmosphere of a restaurant that’s been there for years with a long history. Comfortable seating and well lit. No loud music or noisy background. Ordered one of the lunch specials - chorizo and beef tacos. There were 2 tacos and they were very good. I thought at first that it wouldn’t be filling enough but I was satisfied. Server was nice and didn’t check on us too much or too little. I’d recommend it for a nice lunch.Parking: Not a lot of parking but it wasn’t busy so I had no problems. I’m guessing parking would be a challenge during busier times.

Service was attentive but not overbearing; the food options are diverse & the jambalaya I had was quite good (just the right amount of spicy and each bite I took, I got shrimp, sausage, or chicken! My sister had the fish & chips & said the fish & tartar sauce were hits but the fries were nothing too exciting. The pomegranate mule was lackluster but the Hot Mama (a spicy watermelon margarita) was absolutely the bomb!

Came across Stella's looking for a good burger and it did not disappoint. It was delicious and exactly what I was craving. The service was very good as well. Both times I've been there the waitresses have always been on top of it and very welcoming. The vibe is so cute for a date night! I will definitely be returning and recommending.
We recently secured the services of a babysitter on a Friday night, and then did some Yelp reconnaissance to locate a restaurant that takes reservations - in this case, Stella. When we called to book a table, we were told that reservations were not necessary and that a walk-in wouldn't be a problem. Arriving at the restaurant at around 5.45pm, we found folks lining up more or less out the door, and we were told there would be significant wait for a table. So, I can't really rate Stella on food or service because we did not eat there. Instead, we paid $40 to a babysitter for the privilege of driving into Iowa City, then turning around, grabbing some drive-through food and heading home. Thanks for that, Stella. If you don't want to take reservations, then for goodness' sake, please update your Yelp listing. Waste of two scarce commodities: time and money.

Stellas has an incredible menu of burgers and Cajun food. The burgers are creative combinations that don’t disappoint and the fries are simple but delicious. The service is class Midwest speedy and kind. I’ll be back.
