“Very nice and clean space. Bright colors and murals share a love of culture. Server was very nice and answered my questions about the tortillas. I had the Birria soup. There was so much I had to get a to-go cup. I feel like I want to try everything on their menu. Prices were good as well.“
“The person taking my order was extraordinary!!! Got me what I wanted even though it was not on the menu (a grilled peanut butter and bacon sandwich). She made great suggestions and was very helpful to a first timer. Food was wonderful. So many options, will be back when I am in Iowa City again.“
“We absolutely love this place!! Since the first time we ate here, it has been one of our favorites; we have returned many times (both take-out and dine-in). All the dishes are top quality and fresh. The atmosphere is fun, and the staff are always so friendly and happy. It also seems like a very authentic place as some signage and many patrons and staff speak Spanish. The Mexican grocery store attached to the restaurant is fun to explore as well! The fajitas burrito is a favorite. ❤️Dietary restrictions: They do a great job accommodating lactose free.“

“The service was a little slow, but considering that we were there In the early afternoon on the Tuesday before Christmas, it's totally understandable. You brought our entrées out and got my order wrong, but was quick to remedy the situation, and when it came out, my food was phenomenal. Very hot and fresh. The atmosphere is very cool reminded me of a "new wave" Mexican restaurant. Wasn't busy but there again, were there in early afternoon and it happened to be a Tuesday. But according to some of my friends that live in the IRL, it's never really that busy, so do yourself a favor and head on over there and give them a shot!!! Speaking of which, they do have some really good tequilas as well.“
“I have literally never had a bad experience here. The food is always delicious and you can tell they love what they make. I usually take food to go, but when I dine in the servers are always extremely nice and easy to talk to! It has a very homey and comfortable atmosphere and it's a nice place to have dinner with friends and family.“
